How it works

Whether you are looking for a home, want to buy a property, or want to publish a listing, Kankandeal supports you through the process.

Looking for a home?

1

Browse the listings

Look through the homes available on kankandeal.com and pick the ones that match your needs. You can also send us your criteria directly if you would like us to search for you.

2

Contact the advertiser

When a listing interests you, identify yourself and then contact the owner or the agent directly by WhatsApp or phone, from the listing page.

3

Arrange your viewing

You then speak with the owner or the agent to arrange a viewing. Viewing fees may be requested by the owner or the agent. Kankandeal takes no share of those fees.

4

We check in with you

If you agreed, Kankandeal writes to you on WhatsApp a few days after your contact to ask whether you were able to visit and whether everything went well. You can stop these messages at any time by replying STOP.

5

You take the home

Kankandeal never charges you a commission. If the home is offered by a real estate agent, you pay them their commission of one month's rent, only if the rental is concluded. If it is offered directly by its owner, no commission is due.

Would you like Kankandeal to search for you?

You can also send us your search directly. Simply tell us:

  • the neighbourhood or area you are looking in;
  • your budget;
  • the type of home;
  • the number of bedrooms;
  • your other criteria.

We pass your request on to our partner real estate agents, who suggest the listings that may suit you. If you agree, we also let you know on WhatsApp as soon as a new listing matching your search is published.

What does it cost?

For you, Kankandeal is free: browsing listings, contacting advertisers and asking for a search cost you nothing. Kankandeal never charges you a commission.

If you rent a home offered by a real estate agent, you pay the agent their commission, which amounts to:

1 month's rent

This commission is only due if the rental is actually concluded. For a home offered directly by its owner, no commission is due.

Looking to buy a house, an apartment or a plot of land?

You can browse the available offers, or entrust your search to us.

Where Kankandeal provides a paid service as part of a purchase search, the terms and the amount of our fee are given to you before the work begins.

Would you like to list a property?

Standard publication of a listing on Kankandeal is free.

1

Create your account

Sign up on kankandeal.com.

2

Publish your property

Add the photos, the location, the price, the features, the conditions, and the information prospective tenants or buyers need.

3

Kankandeal may improve the presentation

Before or after publication, Kankandeal may correct spelling, improve the title, reorganise the description, improve how the information is presented, crop or slightly improve some photos, or ask for additional information.

4

Receive prospects

When someone is interested in your property, they contact you directly by WhatsApp or phone. If you agree, Kankandeal then asks you on WhatsApp how that contact went and whether your listing is still available.

Frequently asked questions

Is publishing a listing free?

Yes. Standard publication of a property on Kankandeal is free. Additional paid visibility options may be offered later: they will remain optional, and their price will be shown before you subscribe.

Is browsing the listings free?

Yes. You can browse the properties available on Kankandeal free of charge.

When do I have to pay a commission?

Never to Kankandeal. If you rent a home offered by a real estate agent, you pay the agent their commission, equal to one month's rent, only if the rental is concluded. For a home offered directly by its owner, no commission is due.

Why does Kankandeal write to me after a contact?

To find out whether you were able to visit and whether the listing was reliable: your answers help us weed out bad listings. These messages are only sent if you agreed, and replying STOP is enough to stop them.

Does Kankandeal take a share of the viewing fees?

No. Any viewing fees are set by the owner or the real estate agent. Kankandeal takes no share of them.

Are all listings verified?

Kankandeal moderates listings, but does not systematically carry out a legal, administrative or physical check on every property. Before committing or handing over any money, always check the home, the person you are dealing with, and the necessary documents.

How do I report a listing or suspicious behaviour?
